One thing I’ve learned over the years is this—that soul deep kind of joy comes less from what you’re doing and more from who you’re doing it with. Life is about sharing the things you love with people who matter, the ones who make you feel like you’ve got the best damn life on Earth.
That’s one thing I love so much about the track. Whether we are catching up on the past week, gearing up, talking about track conditions, checking somebody’s latest bike modification, hopping on the track together (I call it the Flying V when we ride in a group and it’s pretty much my favorite moment of every day and the driving reason behind why I wanted to learn how to ride), or drinking a beer together after the motos are all over, we are l-i-v-i-n-g. We ride together, we bleed together and we laugh together. Most importantly we are making the memories of a lifetime together.
I always bring my camera with me to the track. The guys are finally used to it. And to be honest, they have probably used more of my photos for social media and dating profile pictures than I even know.
Here are a few snaps from last week. When you check them out, I hope you can feel the life and the love.
Oh, and when I am pictured without Trav, it’s usually him behind the lens. He’s picking up the snaps game quickly. Thanks, babe!
